Game 2 Recap: Rink Dawgs – 3 Toronto Bruins – 1
(Rink Dawgs win series 2-0)
In the first half we played a very sloppy & sluggish game. We didn’t make very good passes and didn’t pressure them enough, especially their defencemen. They laid back as much as possible picking their spots for when to attack, they were fortunate enough to get the first goal before half time. In the second I thought we did a much better job dumping the ball in and putting pressure on them. We created turnovers and were able to capitalize on the powerplay taking the lead and then getting the go ahead goal. Good effort, we are on to the next round. Games are Tuesday, Aug 5 @ 9:00pm at Cummer and then Thursday, Aug 7 @ 7:00pm at Clatworthy.
